The best takeaway/shawerma place in Edinburgh and possibly Scotland -period. The bbq chicken is outstanding. Mix grill is consistently made and generous. The flavours are excellent. You will not be disappointed.
My only negatives are:
-Too much oily fat in their shawerma wraps (perhaps for flavour?).
-Occasionally get lemon juice from bottles rather than real lemon on my salads (which may not always taste the freshest).
-Some staff are very polite and courteous and the odd ones are not so much (especially when owner is not around).
-and you'll find yourself overeating.
The first picture is a mix grill at £20 and the second was a diet chicken bbq at £8.50 with fattoush salad in the background. Happy to always order from them and give them although they're not the closest.
The best takeaway in the East of Scotland. Simple as that.
I have had many chicken/Lamb shawarmas in Edinburgh however this one beats them all hands down. Recommended many to this place without disappointment especially to try the lamb version and it's so succulent and full of flavour. The brothers are such great help and accommodating and always make customers feel welcome.
One of the few places that does proper layered meat and not cheap minced meat. They have chicken and lamb and both are delicious within their homemade wrap. They also had proper kebabs and shashliks
Don't know what its like right now as am home now but there food is really nice
