I was after my usual mixed meat pack, but being a Monday my local kebab place in South Yarra was closed. I googled places nearby and found this little gem. I live in Windsor and will now travel to 156 Carlisile St kilda. Adis kebabs. First off the bat, is Sam, the owner. What a sweet gentleman. I had called ahead to ask “is the meat real or processed”.. he assured me he only served the best meat possible.
Sam gave me a sample upon arrival, and he was right. I will be travelling the extra km it so to support this small business and this lovely man and his beautiful product. I tipped Sam $5.00 as to be honest, his price for a large meat tray was WAY too low.
I am truly happy I found this business, and will be back. 5 stars
I AM A SERIOUS kebab fanatic from California and have tried many across Melbourne and around the world. Adi's is hands down -- the best -- in terms of quality, taste, and service experience. My wife and I had the lamb kebab and the meat platter, which were perfectly cooked, juicy and succulent - and the veggies and tabouleh, fresh and crisp. The owner, Sam, was incredibly friendly and hospitable, and went out of his way to make us feel like we were visiting his home. Although Adi's is out of the way for us, we will certainly make the trip over for his amazing kebabs every time. If you are in the area, you would be highly advised to NOT miss out on what is one of Melbourne's true gems.
Friendly staff and all that, but let's not kid ourselves - we're here for the grub. Adi's HSPs are so delicious it brings tears to my eyes. And their larger sizes are truly enormous and good value - the regular is twice the size of the small but only $3 more. Best kebabs south of the Yarra.
Do yourself a favour and get some food from Adi's! Adi and his father are very good people and make such nice food! Happy to come back to this place every time!
I would love to give more than 5 stars. Amazing customer service. The best kebabs and HSP I have ever had. Value for money. Very kind hearted person.
