Absolutely coming back here again. The seafood is divine. Cooked to perfection and the plated presentation is perfect making one very happy to start eating. The staff were more than happy to go into great detail regarding the contents of the vegetarian meals and quite happy to adjust for customer if needed to. The restaurant itself is very airy and well set out
I purchased a voucher through scoopon for 4 people, and was very disappointed with the seafood platter that was offered in the voucher. It was nothing like what the voucher said. "Voucher valid for a dips platter per couple, seafood platter per couple, and a glass of house wine per person"
All we got was the dips, the main was 4 calamari rings on top on a bowl of chips, and a small bowl of red sauce with four mussels, and a few small prawns in it. To me this is not a seafood platter per couple.
We got a better value for money, by going else where. Which we did after leaving the Achelya. We got four wraps with three meats in it for $12-90 each, we would have been better off not going there at all, as it cost us an Uber fare to get there, and $26-00 for the 3 beers.
This was not a seafood platter as advertised. For four people we got four calamari rings, and four muscles, to be shared between 4 people (so we got one each!). With regards to the prawns we got one small prawn per person in the red sauce. This was not a seafood platter and I was so embarrassed to have brought my guests here. We were starving so ate else where once we left.
Had lunch at Achelya and it was GOOD! Been coming back here since last year and the food is consistently served nice and fresh. The HSP is my favourite and is definitely always a good grab!
The restaurant was unexpected in more ways than one- right from the ambience, decor, feel and right down to the food. The food however was good and flavoursome while the rest needs a lot of work.
Just had lunch here. Dips beautiful, great bread with it. Then calamari plus other seafood. Ample quantities, would come back again with pleasure.
