Walking trough the neighborhood during lunch time invites me to sit at one of the Jewish restaurants. The BellaCarne restaurant offers a good variety of dishes for an affordable price. The Carciofi (fried artichokes) where the main reason to come by in this neighborhood. For the main I ordered the "Meat pasta" which is made with a stew of meat and this was simply perfect, delicious and a great amount of meat. Really good!

For English speakers who won't check their bill.
In Italy, I find it more appetizing to speak Italian. Makes more sense, too.
So the first hiccup was the language.
The second was the bill : they overcharged, but never responded to the email sent the same evening asking about it.
Now back to the language : I am handicapped thanks to diabetes meds, the scandalous Mediator.
This is an amphetamine which was developped by the nazis in the death camps & miraculously found its way into the USA. Germany and the USA forbade it in their countries but made money with it abroad.
NOW REALLY, WHEN I MANAGE TO EAT OUT ONCE OR TWICE A MONTH, I DON'T SEE WHY I SHOULD SPEAK THE LANGUAGE OF THE COUNTRY THAT CRIPPLED ME AND STILL TORTURES ME EVERY DAY WITH EXCRUCIATING PAIN.
