Incredibly delicious shawarma! That's all I've eaten from the shop. It's relatively cheap (4 Euros) and you get a lot. I live 100 meters from the place and get takeaway shawarma for my wife and myself 3 times a week. I happen to love meat and I thought they use lamb and/or pork, but it's 100% chicken and turkey. I was really amazed.
I came here a bunch when I went to college here 9 years ago and was INTENSELY happy to see it here still. These are the greatest kebaps! They used to have little porcinis that I loved, but no longer there. Nonetheless, still amazing and a must for anyone visiting or studying here alike!
For the first time since I moved to Rome,
I found a place that makes good Middle Eastern Shawerma and Falafel. Sandwiches were tasty, reasonably priced, and relatively filling. Recommended
Walking trough the neighborhood during lunch time invites me to sit at one of the Jewish restaurants. The BellaCarne restaurant offers a good variety of dishes for an affordable price. The Carciofi (fried artichokes) where the main reason to come by in this neighborhood. For the main I ordered the "Meat pasta" which is made with a stew of meat and this was simply perfect, delicious and a great amount of meat. Really good!
