I have tried an incredible number of food stands in Vienna and Meidling and I have to say that the kebab there is very good. The falafel sandwich tastes incredibly good, is crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside and does not crumble in the mouth as unfortunately many other food stalls sell falafel. What is also added is the käskrainer, which also tastes incredibly good and is also HALAL for the muslin who read it, just like all the other dishes!
Located in Meilding district at U4 Meilding Hauptstrasse. Serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Open very late! I got table service at 2345 local time. I believe it is only take out after midnight. Food is Mediterranean and very tasty. I ordered the spit roasted doner kebab over rice.9,50 euro.
Recently got a little bit more expensive, but they have a decent cheap noodle box with crispy chicken for 3,40 now. The doner kebap is very good, but more expensive than the typical kebap (I think 3,90). They're open very long, especially on Friday and the weekend.
I was carried away by the positive reviews to try the narin kebab. in december i wanted to try the shop but my departure by train from meidling station was too soon and had to postpone my attempt until february. now try a kebab there for 3.50 including pepsi without asking so great! kebab: I agree with the positive reviews. everything was fine again. colleague seems ur nice.
Anyone who has ever eaten a kebab here, regardless of whether it is veal or chicken, will never be able to eat anywhere else. Berliner Döner can queue up right at the back. The meat itself is so delicious that you could only eat it on a plate, with the fresh bread and the legendary sauce it is a pure pleasure for the palate. There is only one thing left in this shop that is better than the food itself; and that's the sympathetic and always friendly staff who always make a visit a pleasure, no matter what time. If it were possible I would give it 10 stars. Absolute insider tip in Vienna.
I know this Döner kebab place for years. They have been quite good for what they sell. But with the time it has changed alot their sauce and freshly baked bread were key ingredients, which tastes slightly different now. Still 4stars for taste of lamm meat.
Very nice staff, family atmosphere (and not creepy as in some Turkish places where all questions from where you come from, whether you are married, etc.), pizza and kebab good, without any special features. Falafel is a HIT! If you smile nicely (or ask: P) you get extra garlic oil on the pizza.
Local is small and clean.
Must try! Best kebab i've ever had! The veggies are freshly cut, the meat isn't greasy or fat, the guys are very friendly! Try the box-the rice is amazing! Also durum is very tasty! Prices-cheap for the high quality
⚠Attention, in my opinion, the best kebab from the 12th district! I have been going to Menzil for years & as it is unfortunately often the case, the quality of some shops is getting worse but at Menzil it has got better from year to year! The kebab is very good that Meat juicy & very crispy & not gristly! The bread tastes very good & the amount of meat & vegetables is not little & fresh! You are most politely greeted & said goodbye only when ordering in the shop it takes a little longer because he makes e-mail or phone orders first! I'm never disappointed but I got a kebap & a pizza as a present because it made "THANK YOU"! I can't judge how the other foods taste because I've never tried them! I can 100% recommend the Menzil!
One of the best kebabs i ate. Everything was perfect: meat, bread, & all complements (salad, onions, tomatoes, sauce, and a very little of pimento); kindness of the cook; price of it all; and the place, close to the water —and a very nice spot from where you can watch other people eating behind glass (…).
